Hi, Please could someone look for the following on the 1861 census.
Mary Holmes born abt. 1804 in Shropshire, prob. in or around the Dawley area. She will be a widow and most likely to still be living in Dawley. Sorry no other info.
Thanks Kaz
NB I've just discovered that she may be living with her son Enoch born abt. 1830 in Dawley, occ. puddler.

The only Mary Holmes born about that time in Dawley that I can find in the 1861 is living in Lancashire with a husband, William, also born in Dawley.
Added: Just found this couple in the 1851 census and they are living in Yorkshire. They also have a son, Enoch, born in Dawley in 1830. Confusing?
There's also this family in the 1851 - are they yours?
