Restoring my Grandfather - Irish Guard
« on: Monday 19 May 08 22:59 BST (UK) »

I have attached one of the few pictures I have of my Grandfather in military uniform. As you can see its in very poor condition. If anyone could help me restore it I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Conor

Hi...
there is alot of detail in this photo and its very small Sad  for ease of restoring and to give you a better quality repair.....

Please could you rescan at 300dpi and select high quality (no compression). We are allowed up to 500KB on this board

Thank you Jenny. I shall dig out the photo. Had this copy saved on my PC for a long time now.

Hi Conor,

This is a very nice picture to have, the restorers are marvelous on here, so I shall watch this one with great interest!

I do love to see what fabulous work they do, I am not capable of doing it myself you see!
