Frederic Oliver Trench became the 3rd Baron Ashtown. Some of his estate was located in the civil parish of Killimordaly. The Valuation records show that he was the landlord for the townlands of Caraunbeg, Caraunmore, Creevagh, Dooghloon, Gortnaboha and Island.
