Liverpool 1861/71 censii - MOUNSEY

Could someone kindly look up Thomas Mounsey in the 1861/71 censii please. He and his wife Jane, born Keswick c1831, had a daughter Emma in 1859 in Liverpool but he had died by the 1881. His widow was living in Toxteth with her son William aged 15 in 1881.
It is likely Thomas was born in either Westmorland or Cumberland.

Well, on one site I can't find any of them.
On FMP person search I come up with:

RG9. P. 2685 Fol 64 Pg. 45

Living 13 Hawke Street, Liverpool

Mouncy (transcribed Morney)
Jane Head Wid 30 Dressmaker B. Cumberland
Mary E Dau 6 B. Cumberland
Jessi Dau 4 B. Liverpool
Emma Dau 1 B. Liverpool

I'm at a bit of a loss - this certanly sounds like Jane and Emma, but there are these two additionl daughters - and Jane is already a widow - so what about William in 1871?

What's more, the census reference on FMP comes up with No Matches Found on An***y.

Not much help to you, I'm afraid!

Hi Mum44,

Thank you for looking those up, I now have something to go on and I agree the 1861 looks like them and ages match but as you say, where did William come from if she was already a widow? Perhaps we should not ask!
Sorry I do not understand your last line in the last post.

Do you have access to the 1851 Cumberland census?

I thought I'd try to find them on the Ancestry site, but the census ref. given on FMP ie: RG9. P. 2685 Fol 64 Pg. 35 is not recognised on Ancestry. Don't know why Huh

I can't see a Jane Mounsey b. 1831 Cumberland on the 1851 -

I did find two of the children's birth regs. which might help if you got certificates:

Hi,

There is a Jessie Mounsey living with John and Mary E. Davies in 1881 described as "sister" Mary E was born in Westmorland. Mary Elizabeth Mounsey was born in Kendal in June 1855 according to the BMD.
There is a Jessie Mounsey with correct parents baptised in Keswick, Cumberland in 1859 and a Mary Elizabeth in 1855 in Ambleside. Jane's
name is Stanley.

This is really quite complex.
I can see the connection with the Parkinsons, Elizabeth was married twice, 1838 at Grasmere, Westmorland when she was 38 and Thomas Parkinson 34, fathers name given as Hugh Smith, very useful.....
She was originally maried to Timothy Stanley in 1820 at Crosthwaite.
Jane Stanley was baptised in Crosthwaite in 1830 so that looks good.
But I still can't find Thomas, I have no idea of his birth date and can't find his death either. I know his middle name was Harrison but that doesn't seem to help.

Elizabeth Smith was baptised March 1797, father Hugh, mother Deborah Carr, so when widowed she knocked a few years off her age and married a younger man!
