Joanna, sorry I can't help with the baptism (it's not on the IGI) but wondered if you had a marriage for her as there's a likely one on the Surrey Marriage Index,
Ann WINDOW to George Love 21/4/1778 Thames Ditton. It was by banns & they were both of the parish at the time of their marriage.
From the Surrey Burial Index;
Ann LOVE 2/9/1827 age 76, Long Ditton...so her DOB would be about 1751. George LOVE 23/5/1834 age 80, Long Ditton.
So that narrows things down a bit although it doesn't look as if she was born in Thames or Long Ditton as the name Window doesn't appear on the burial index until later. There are a couple of burials for WINDOW in Kingston & Leatherhead. From the Surrey Super Index the name Window can also be found in Clapham, Dorking & Fetcham,
There doesn't appear to be a baptism for Ann Window in either Thames or Long Ditton.
The witnesses at the marriage in 1778 were a Richard Window and Sarah Deedman. Ann signed her name but George made his mark.
An Ann Window was a witness at the marriage of a Richard Window the previous year in Long Ditton.
The earliest date I can find the Window name in either parish is in 1763 when widower Richard Window married Sarah Vidler by licence. Richard was a blacksmith.

Many thanks indeed Jane and Nell for your investigations on my behalf. At least this helps to narrow things down a bit! Nell, can you tell me who Richard Window married in 1777? There is a suggestion that perhaps he was Ann's brother so this might help me with the line of enquiry.
