Hello Lynnej. Here are your Stobart gravestone inscriptions. When you read them it seems like they should be from Witton le Wear but they are Etherley:-

Here rest the mortal remains of Geo Edw Culley Stobart, who died July/5/1845 age 10 years.

In memory of Elizabeth Rachel Maurice, the beloved wife of Henry Smith Stobart, who died at Witton le Wear on the 4/April/1856 aged 24 years.
Also the above named H S Stobart, who was killed by  lightning on the 26/June/1880 near Witton le Wear aged 56 years.
Katherine, widow of H S Stobart, died at Derwent Lodge, Keswick, May/6/1913 aged 74 years.

H.S.S. died June/18/1880 (one cross with just that inscription)

Here rest the mortal remains of John Henry Stobart, who died at Witton le Wear on the 13/April1861 aged 28 years.
And of Margaret Eleanor, his wife, who died at Witton le Wear 13/May/1869 aged 54 years.

In memory of Matthew William stobart, who died at Beechburn Grange, July/1/1868 aged 41 years.
In memory of Mary Adelaide, wife of Matthew William Stobart, who fell asleep November/26/1879 (no age given)

Henry John Stobart, born 22/October/1865. Died 5/December/1865.

Her rest the the mortal remains of Jane Culley Stobart, who died December/24/1870 aged 39 years.

Adam, Can you help me with Firbank family inscriptions. I believe they were from Etherley although the marriage I have in 1838 was in St John Escomb.
Thank you

Thank you Adam. Sadly they do not seem to be directly connected to my Thomas Firbank born Barnard Castle but living in Escomb in 1841 with wife Mary Aisbitt born Etherly. His father William is proving very elusive. I will just have to keep searching!
