Hello! I am the grand-daughter of Winifred Emily Bletsoe. Her mother was Louisa Berry. It is very strange, that all your posts look-a-like. But there is never any information of my granny's brother, who commited suicide.

Yes,
I am Engelina, the grand-daughter of Winifred Emily Bletsoe, who was born 8 Dec. 1890 in Brighton. She married Johan Joseph Minoli born 15 Aug. 1891 in Arnhem, The Netherlands. The marriage took place in Brighton on 14 Oct 1913 England, Brighton. They had 6 children. The eldest John Peter was born in Brighton 25 April 1914 and died 15 July 1918 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Hello Lili-pond I am still searching, but i seems to hit a brick wall. Found a John William Bletsoe born in 1859 in Grendon, married in 1881 (?)
The road to perfection is always under construction

Hello Rozy,
Have you found this marriage on Free BMD?
Marriages September Quarter 1881 Brighton 2b 361 John William Bletsoe to either Louisa Berry or Ruth Collins
If I remember rightly, when I was looking at this for Lilypond, I had the feeling that John William's father (Thomas Taylor Bletsoe?) had moved to Brighton with his family that included two sons. (Did John have a brother Henry?)
Am I on the right track? If so, I can probably back-track over it fairly easily if you want more information.
Phil

Hello searchers!! I am amazed, what you all have found. The name Henry keeps popping up, but i am not sure, he is related. Were are you searching that you can come up with this information? Is it because i am not a paid-member, that this info is not open to me? Thanks! Rozy.

Hi Rozy
Welcome to Rootschat
This is the A2A site petmas refers to, it will give you some idea what is in some records held by the various records offices - always worth a search, it is free.
http://www.a2a.org.uk/
The 1881 census is free to search on the FamilySearch.org site which also houses the IGI (International Genealogical Index) be wary of member submitted records on here
http://www.rootschat.com/links/0bq/
This site allows you to search the extracted IGI records by parish
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis/
This site allows you to search some of the Birth Marriage and Death indexes
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/
And this one some censuses, more being added all the time
http://freecen.rootsweb.com/
There are various subscription sites for Census and other information - one being
http://www.ancestry.co.uk/
Which is often offering free trials so you can see what you think
Hope this is off some help
