Hi I am looking for information on the family of Bethya Rossiter and Henry Russ in Bath. In particular one of their children John Russ born 1796 in Bath. Does anyone have any idea where he went and who he married. I suspect that he went to London and married Jane Ann Tonks but cannot prove it as yet.
John died in Kensington London in 1859 aged 69 years. the dates dont quite match but he is the only John Russ born in Bath around that time that I can find.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still looking for Bethya too. I'm stuck at the same point as you.
Just wondered if we could access the information via Henry's siblings. I found a John Russ who married a Mary Sims at Bath circa 1787 and wondered if he might be a relative.

Hi Rcuser, The only info on Henry & Bethya that I have is as follows and was copied from the Guildhall at Bath by my cousin.
Henry Russ m Bethya Rossiter 09/05/1792. Witnesses James Sutton and Ann Rossiter.
children:
1793 Henry Bap 4/81793 d 16/09/1793
1795 Henry Bap 1/3/1795
1796 John Bap 25/12/1796
1800 Edmund Bap 19/1/1800
1801 Harriet Bap 25/12/1801
1805 Job Bap 3/11/1805 d 13/11/1809
1809 Ann Bap 03/04/1809
It certainly maybe worth following up Henrys siblings. The one you mentioned seems as if it could be Henrys Brother.
