Can any one help?

I am looking for a John Luetchford born in Woolwich 1866.

I have only found him on the 91 Census and he is in the Navy in Portsea.

I'm wondering if he could actually be Alfred as there is an Alfred LUETCHFORD in the Royal Navy service records (born 12 Apr 1865 Woolwich) http://www.rootschat.com/links/03ga/ and also a baptism for Alfred on the IGI http://www.familysearch.org but no sign of John Undecided
