Hello this is my first time - I am looking for my ancestor Henry Shone- transported to Tasmania in 1820 for stealing, given a 7 year sentence, served and released 1827, then joined a Whaling ship the Clarence in 1830 . I can not find anything more about him -nothing in Victorian Records nor any British records after 1830
Could you look up your sources from 1827 to 1830 to find what he was doing during this time?
He does not appear to have returned to Tasmania after his whaling trip  Huh
