Looking for help on this family please from BARROW GURNEY
ELIZA COX Married GEORGE HANCOCK
22 August 1767 in Barrow Gurney
Children were
1, GEORGE Born 1768
2,,SARAH Born 1768
3...ALEXANDER  Born 1771
4..EDITH Born 1773
5..EDWARD born 1779
Cannot find anything on this family, Who the Children married etc
Really stumped with this one
Or who ELIZA COXS parents are
HAVE GEORGES Parents tho...Alexander HANCOCK and EDITH BOWLES
Sooo any help on this family would be appreciated

I'm not quite sure what you already know - for instance you give years of birth not baptisms and some of your dates don't equate with the parish register.

These are the baptisms I found in the Barrow Gurney registers:
31 Jan 1768  George  son of George and Elizabeth Hancock
10 Sep 1769  Sarah dau of George and Eliz
31 Oct 1770  Edward  son of George and Eliz
1 Dec 1771  Alexander son of George and Eliz
12 Apr 1773  Edith dau of George and Eliz

Just to confuse matters there are two other Hancock marriages providing entries in the register from 1775:
17 Jan 1775  Nancy dau of George and Hannah
3 Jun 1778  Mary  dau of George and Sarah
6 Aug 1780  Elizabeth dau of George and Sarah
8 Dec 1782  Edward son of George and Hannah

I looked for Hancocks and Cox earlier in Barrow Gurney with little success.  It is a small parish and if George's father was a husbandman as he was, the chances are that the family moved to follow the work.

There were various Cox families baptising children a generation earlier but none seem to have been resident in the parish for a long time.  There are some very faded sections in the earlier years so the information you want may have been lost.  The entries I found are:

bap  12 Apr 1730  Hannah  dau of John Cox
bap  15 Apr 1736  Betty  dau of John and Ann Cox

bap 17 Mar 1731/32  Mary  dau of William Cox
bap  30 Jun 1734  Samuel  son of William Cox
bap  5 Mar 1738/39  Sarah dau of William and Jane Cox

bap  14 Sep 1732  Sarah  dau of James Cox
bap  9 May 1736  Joanna  illegitimate dau of James Cox and Ann Hawkins
