Am seeking information on Isabella Farish, wife of John Farish (1773-1857), who died between 1841 and 1854.
Could anyone with access to the old burial ground or parish church records/MIs for Annan please look and see if there is any reference to this couple.

There soesn't appaer to be an Isabella Farish recorded at aither of the Annan cemeteries. There is one at Cummertrees who died in 1851 aged 44 but she is the wife of George Rule.

Found in the census records for 1841 for Annan. Isabella Farish aged 65, John Farish aged 60 in Carlyle Place, Annan. Also a William Smith aged 10 at same address. No other people at this address.

Am aware of this census record. I think this is my John & Isabella, confirmed by the presence of William Smith (John & Isabella's daughter married a Heron Smith) but thanks very much for looking.
What I would really love to find is Isabella's maiden name and the date of her marriage to John Farish (prob around 1800-1810) but there is nothing close on Scotland's People. The Annan MI's are also not helpful
