It's not a problem - it is sometimes difficult to work out the families so it can be a process of elimination.
The clues are always there - we just have to see them
Still leaves a few mysteries, though, and lots of unanswered questions at the moment about what happened to Mary Ann after 1871.
I'll have another look later on unless someone else has a crack at it

I reckon that the people I have posted for you are the correct family. Charles born 1817 Birmingham fits in well
Sometimes we have to take birth places and ages on the census with a pinch of salt. Sometimes people get confused about their birth place and all these areas are pretty much near each other. Sometimes people lie about their age to catch a younger man
Perhaps Willow will have a look and we can see what she thinks. It's always good to have another opinion.
Not the easiest of families to trace

Tricia, Thankyou for your help, i've put Amelia's family in my tree but i'll print all this off and your right about area and their ages because Amelia and Mary's father was born Cheshire and the mother Lichfield. I only just found out about 2 months ago that in the 1800s the man could get married at 16 and the women 12yrs old as long as they was married into respectable family's so it just goes to show.
Thanks again for your time and i do appreciate the work you've put into my family.
