robert miller policeman 1901

hi there iam looking for any information on robert miller he was born and brought up in wick and moved down to edinburgh 1889-1891 he was listed in the 1891 census  as been 26 and a police constabe is there any way i can find out about his police service

On the Royal Mile in Edinburgh there is a Police Museum. I'm sure if they were contacted they could tell you whether or not records are still held, or at least tell you where to start looking.
