James Hornsby of Lane ? Farm, Cornsay, born November/18/1817?, died February/8/1896 Matthew Hornsby, son of the above, who died April/5/1900 aged 44 years.

In loving memory of John Sproat, who died 5/October/1935 aged 76 years. And his wife Mary Ann Sproat, who died 7/November/1943 aged 87 years. Also William, beloved son of the above.

Hello Irene. Here they are:-
In memory of Leonard, dearly beloved husband of Sarah Rippon of East Butsfield, who died may/3/1902 in his 83rd year Also of the above Sarah Rippon, who died October/28/1924 in her 89th year. Also Thomas, son of the above and beloved husband of Sarah Rippon of Hythe farm, who died January/29/1905 aged 41 years.
In affectionate remembrance of Nathan? Rippon of Satley, who died September/19/1884 aged 67 years. Also Wm ??Ord Rippon, who died November/9/1886 aged 64 years. (This stone is affected by weathering)

In loving memory of George Dixon Walton, the beloved husband of Barbara Walton of Low Hedley Hope Farm, who died June/22/1927 aged 90 years. Also Barbara Walton, the beloved wife of the above, who died may/28/1933 in her 90th year.
In loving memory of Mary Ann, dearly beloved wife of William D Walton of Lanchester, who died May/20/1926 aged 58 years. Also William D Walton, who died July/23/1933 aged 56 years.
There are two more but they are from the 1960's and 70's.

Hello Carol. I have already posted the Butterfield inscription on this thread. As for the Smith gravestones on here and your other requests. Could you give me some time scale that you are looking for. As you will understand there are lots of Smiths and it would be pointless to post everything from 1800's to the late 1900's.
