Looking for details of marriage of Wilbert Albert Tinsley to Ann Selina Varney Sept reg 1891 at St. Albans.
This marriage possibly took place at Abbey or St. Peters.
Would like if poss occ, names of fathers, date and witnesses please.

Hi Carol,
The St.Albans parish register records the marriage of 10Sep1891 as Wilbert Albert TINSLEY 22 bach. train examiner of North Wingfield, Derbyshire, father Eli TINSLEY and Anne Selina VARNEY 23 spin. of Albert Street, St.Albans father James VARNEY a platelayer. The ceremony was witnessed by James and Emily VARNEY. The bride dropped the 'e' in her first name when signing the register.

Good to hear from you again, no you are not too late, although I had details from another RC'er, I didn't have the occupation of Wilbert Tinsley. As for Selina dropping the 'e' in her first name must have been down to nerves!
