1841 census - Cubitt
« on: Saturday 31 May 08 11:31 BST (UK) »

Hello
Can anyone help me find William and Elizabeth Cubitt in 1841.  Both were aged about 50.  They lived in St Pancras during the 1820's but were in Surrey in 1851 and I don't know where they were in 1841.  William was an Alderman.  Daughters Eliza, Rosa, Emma and Maria may have been living with them.
Thanks for any help. Regards, Carmel

Thanks.  You are correct - the one with son Joseph is not the one I am looking for.  They were often confused and I have to double check all info I find to make sure it is the correct one.  Carmel

Just thought I should also mention he was in the building industry and I'm not sure when he entered politics so occupation in 1841 maybe builder or associated occupation.  C

Eliza age 23, Rosa 16, Emma 14, Maria 13.  I also just read notes that showed William was at Gray's Inn Road at end of 1841 but don't know if he lived there or that was just business address. C
