Lookup Request Aberystwyth - Thomas Jones Master Mariner

Hi

Can anyone help me with either a lookup on the following birth in Aberystwyth?

Thomas Jones - born 16 September 1800 Aberystwyth.  Parents unknown.  I'm not sure if this was in the Welsh Church or otherwise.  Information on birth date has come from his Master Mariner's certificate. 

Other information I have on him is that he later worked in Bangor, Conway, Chester and then Liverpool.  He married Martha Williams in or around Bangor  between 1832 and 1836.

If no-one on the board can help, you could always contact the Archives in Aberystwyth. They hold  the parish records and Genuki has this list of the non-conformist places of worship
