Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a Thomas Mosey born Durham .I don't have alot of info apart from he married
a Wallace.They had a son William born 1900 Durham.Any help will be most appreciated.

Have you checked for him on the 1881 census which is free to search at www.familysearch.org  It will at least give you his birthyear

Have you checked free bmd for a Mosey/Wallace marriage which will give his wife's christian name and make a 1901 search easier

Was son William their firstborn or did they have older children

The marriage is on freebmd 1890 to Elizabeth Wallace

The only William Mosey birth around 1900 was in Halifax - 1899

freebmd has this birth registration:

March Qu 1902 Lanchester  10a 333    MOSEY    William        

so he won't appear on the 1901 census.

You'll find Elizabeth on the 1881 census with parents Thomas & Ann living in Byers Green   ref: RG11/4923 Folio  95  Page  22 ~ as Carole said, free to view on ancestry or findmypast or familysearch

Thomas in 1881 is at ref RG11/4949  Folio  96  Page  16  listed as Thomas Moses and living with his brother in Lanchester
