Can you plz help me with the following look up family Birkinshaw parents of john birkinshaw Barnby Dunn born1824 also a date of marriage to Hannah ridge of barnby dunn born1834 and her parents or anything about their children
Jane abt 1858
John 1865
Sarah 1865
any help with this family would be very much appreciated

Hi,

This looks like the marriage registration:

John Birkinshaw  MarQ 1856   Doncaster 9c     480 (found on FreeBMD)

Possible bride:  Hannah Ridge

A copy of the certificate should give names and occupations of their fathers, which will help find them on 1841/51 census.  Certs can be ordered online from www.gro.gov.uk .

There is a birth registration for twins John & Sarah, SepQ 1864 and there are 2 possible registrations for Jane; one SepQ 1857, the other DecQ 1857.

You will need marriage certificate to be certain -but this may be a possibility for Hannah???
