I am trying to find the parents of Daniel, registered Dec qtr 1843, born Berden, Essex.  He married in June qtr 1861 so am hoping that he would still be at home.  IGI not very helpful for finding births in Essex.  Any help appreciated.  Smiley

Thank you so much - this has proved the connection I had hoped for.  Daniel's sister Mary Ann (9 in the 1851 census) married my great grandfather's brother Samuel.  Samuel's niece Eliza married widowed Daniel in 1897 when she was 41.
