BRADD family - Buntingford

Hi all

Currently researching the BRADD descendants of John and Sarah.  Some of their children were born on the Isle of Wight - but the family ended up in the Buntingford area by 1850s.  Not known yet whether that is where John and/or Sarah originated.

Children: (not all listed - some died in infancy)

Ann (b. 1817 )

Sarah Harriet (b 1823-IOW) married
Charles BRADSHAW (b Standon 1816)

John Bradd (b. 1829)

William (b. c1832 - IOW) married
Eliza THOROGOOD (b.c1834 Lt Hormead).
Had :  Thomas b1861; Henry b1863; Emily b1866; Charles b1869; Frederick b1875; John b1858; all in the Aspeden/ Buntingford area.

Some descendants ended up in London by the early 1900s - Hackney, Homerton area.  (Some in Islington late 1890s)

Is anyone else researching this family - I have more information but thought I'd keep it (relatively) short and sweet !

Hi Helen
My name is John Michael Bradd (43). I live in North Yorkshire. I am married and have three children. My father Barry Clive Bradd, died 17 years ago, my Mother (Marlene) is remarried and lives near us. My father lived in Horsforth, Leeds before marriage. I never met my grandfather on my fathers side however I may be able to gain info from my mother when she returns from Spain at the end of the month.
My fathers Brother (Jack Bradd) is still alive and living in Yorkshire. He will be in his 70s now and has a wife (Elsie) and twin sons, who both have families of thier own.
I thought our family was the only Bradds around. There's probably a link somwhere down the line. If I find out any more info I'll post it.
I hope this is helpful. I would appreciate any further info you have.
