helo,im trying to find info on georgina burton,she married james humphrey osborn  in thanet  o/n/d 1890 2a 1731.the later census tells me she was born in st george the east,london c1873.all i can find on 1881 is georgina burton born 1873 st george the east with her mother catherine burton born 1836 castle town,isle of man.shes a widow.there are several other catherine burtons born c1836 isle of man on earlier and later census,but none appear to be mine.if anyone can help me with her id be grateful,thanks,nel.

Do you not have Georgina's Wedding Certificate to find out her father's name? You can then look up his marriage to discover Catherine's maiden name. Of course it may well be in the Isle of Man. My husband did eventually find a marriage of his Irish ancestors there.
I had a quick look for Georgina's birth but couldn't see one covering St George in the East - Bethnal Green.
