Have the family of George and Isabella Sutherland but a Williamina starts to appear in the 1891 census.

1891 Williamina Douglas 3 months boarder
1901 Minnie age 10 years adopted daughter
When she married in 1914 to a John Wood Anderson was added as a middle name.
How can I find out anything about her I'm totally lost.

Unfortunately no enough info in your query   :O)

What was the maiden name of Isabella Sutherland?  Williamina daughter of a deceased sister? - or even friend or neighbour....  Possibly if given the name Wiliamina Douglas, her mother was a Douglas, unmarried mother dies in childbirth, fathers name was Anderson which she adopts later in life to give herself 'legitimacy' .

Date of 1891 census was 5th April. So assumes Williamina born that year as age given as 3 months.  I take it the census has her down as born in Aberdeenshire?

There are no births in Scotland for a Williamina Douglas in 1891 - but 3 for a Williamina Anderson.

Does her marriage/death entry give no indication of natural parents names?

Hi
Isabella's maiden name was Walker.
Census says Williamina born Aberdeen City.
Marriage has parents as George and Isabella Sutherland.
Will look into the other things you suggested.
