Which Cemetery in Lowestoft????
« on: Thursday 05 June 08 15:44 BST (UK) »

Hi All,

Can some-one please tell me how I can find out what Cemetery in Lowestoft Suffolk my "PEASE" family are buried?

My Pease that I am trying to find are;
Edward Pease chr 04 oct 1757 Howe Norfolk died 21 Mar 1797
Elizabeth Pease wife chr 22 Jan 1758 died 28 Oct 1793
Abraham Pease son died 13 Oct 1793 age 1
Elizabeth Pease dau died 21 June 1790 age
Peter Pease son
All died in Lowestoft.

Edward Pease remarried after his wife Elizabeth died in 1793.
Edward married his second wife Elizabeth Napp 29 Dec 1795 in Besthorpe Norfolk (as that is where Edwards family was from). After his marriage, he and his new wife came back to Lowestoft to live but unfortunately Edward died 2 years into their marriage.

I hope some one can share some light for me. Smiley

Kind regards
Wendy

I only know about one - Lowestoft Cemetery. There is a webstite with names

http://www.waveney.gov.uk/cemeteries/lowestoft/lowestoft_oakes_quantrill.html

but no Pease.

Could they have been buried in another town? Yarmouth, maybe?

 Edward PEASE
Date of burial: 21 Mar 1797
Age at death: 39
Place of burial: Lowestoft
St Margaret

So it looks like the churchyard of St. Margarets.
