Hi

An Elizabeth Couper died in 1848 in South Shields (see FreeBMD for reference).

Since your Elizabeth was with her family on the 1841 census but not apparent afterwards, there is a chance that this might refer to her.

Thanks DS,
I felt that she might have died as a child and this could confirm it.
I think I've done as much as I can on this family now, so I will close them off until I next get a "new lead".
