Hi, can anyone tell me if the MI's and/or burial records for St. Nicholas and St. John the Baptist in Loughton, have been transcribed?
Looking for Louisa Grout, (maiden name possibly Ward) who married James Grout. They had eight children between 1828 and 1850, and it is thought Louisa died around 1853. I have a date of 12 December 1853, but only one death entry for a Louisa in the Free BMD, December quarter 1852 reg Epping.
You cannot assume Freebmd's transcriptions are either complete or an accurate interpretation of what is on the GRO index page.
use the view original images facility to look at pages for when you think the death should have been as a starter. No ages were included at that point, so quite possibly, the 1852 entry is nothing other than a namesake...
