Hello,
You probably have no alternative but to dig deep (too deep) into your purse and view some more records on Scotlandspeople.
Tracing Scottish ancestors is simply an expensive business. I had the great fortune to be seconded to my employer's Glasgow office for a long spell and could spend hours looking through records for free.
My Walker family lived in Paisley too in the late 1820s / early 1830s, and like your family they moved to Glasgow in the 1840s.

It is annoying when certificates are too expensive to get. All the best for your search

Hi
Our ancestors certainly make it hard work in finding them. They will pop up when you least expect it ..... they just don't want to be found at the moment.
Good luck in your search.
Cheers KHP

Hi Aussie Andy
Welcome to Rootschat ...... Genealogy sure is addictive and once in the door it is hard to leave.
You must be on my Ggrandfathers brothers side then ....
To share information you must make at least two more posts before using the PM (Personal Message system). If you post back with another message or two separate posts then we can be in contact.
Cheers KHP
