Suggestion: FAQ board
« on: Friday 21 January 05 11:17 UTC (UK) »

I, and others, have suggested this before, but it's worth another ask.

With all the newcomers joining RootsChat, it is often happening, that the same questions are being asked again and again.

How about a Frequently Asked Questions Board/Area , which we can point members to, instead of repeating the information every time, or trying to find the thread where that question was last answered ?

Recent examples which I noticed are:
- what does 'minor' on marriage cert. mean
- why are there different numbers of entries on freeBMD marriage pages
- and various other "what is ...", "why is .." questions

This could possibly be combined with the Beginner's Board

Any other views ?
