I have a william puttnam born @1822 in Quley Buckinghamshire...
cant find any ref to Quley when put in computer , is there such a place ?

Hi,

I looked in Phillimores and the only parishes in Bucks beginning with a 'Q' are Quainton and Quarrendon.

I think you've got a mistranscription there - and my best bet would be Olney. Fingers crossed!  Grin

   Looks like Jill is right ....I have looked at the original for 1851 and it is spelt wrong ..... ONLEY   instead of Olney

  a pallots marriage for 1802 Olney  Wm Puttnam to Mary Wain .
