hi im on the hunt for Edmund Green born Ivinghoe, Bucks in 1810 his whole famiy appear to all be dead by 1841 but i found a marriage that might possibly be him. Biggleswade, Bedford to Rachel Mager with a child Eliza born 1837. ive found a possible '81 census for his widow Rachel in Princes Risborough Bucks W age 67 on her own as Head. but id like to be able to confirm by the census with his birth place. as Bedfordsh. and Bucks are close to each other it wouldnt be difficult for him to marry there and there are family members in Beds at that time. if all his family had died it wouldnt be too unreasonable for him to go there.
can anyone find this little famiy.

The Rachel you refer to in the 1881 was married to Thomas on all the cencuses so she is nothing to do with Edmond.

thanks David i guess the Greens were just a very unlucky family. none of them seem to have survived. i was contacted by a man who had James Green in his family with the right birth date of one of mine but we cant connect him, Edmunds brother and father were both James before anyone asks. the whole famiy just seem to have disappeared into the system. kas
