1822 Northumberland Trade Directory - lookup request
« on: Friday 13 June 08 12:52 BST (UK) »

I was wondering if someone with access to the 1822 trade directory could do a lookup for me?  I'm looking for the occupant(s) of Bridge Mill, near Ancroft.
Thanks

On the Northumberland Communities web site, there's the 1827 Parson & White Trade Directory:

http://communities.northumberland.gov.uk/Ancroft_C16.htm#004837

In 'Brig Mill', Haggerston, there's a Blacksmith called John McGregor, and in 'Brock Mill', Haggerston there's a farmer called John Simmons.

I don't know if either of these will help.

Thank Tracy.  Yes, I've seen these.  It's definitely the 1822 directory I'm after.  It's been published on CD.
Cheers
