There has to be royalty somewhere!

It's getting rather confusing
Okay found this marriage on IGI Harriet NELL = Henry LAW 13 jan 1824 Southwick Sussex
then this; Children of John WHITE and HARRIETTE John BISHOP WHITE b 1 april 1833 chr 9 oct 1836 New Shoreham Joseph WHITE b 10 aug 1836 chr 9 oct 186 New shoreham
so Harriet ?? marries George NELL and has Caroline b c 1819 (mother of joseph Wm Nell who is the dad of Arthur J NELL) Then Harriet NELL marries Henry LAW (in 1824) and has Henry b c 1829 (he is her son in the 1851 census) Harriet marries John WHITE and has John and Joseph
arrghhh cannot find Harriet's marriage to John White

Hi Geoff4, I am treasurer of Newhaven Museum. I have been in contact with the guy with the medal and can send you a photo of Nell. email me through the Newhaven Museum website (info@....) I would like a photo of the bowl please if possible. Nell returned to SA, joined the Police force and then developed some nasty habits with the young native men of the village!! They were afraid to report him but he then tried his luck with another Police officer who didn't appreciate his attentions and he was given 1 yr hard labour for 12 charges. I can't find any record after that. Pete

Geoff has decided to not pursue this as he has connections with youngsters and feels that any equiry into Nell and his habits might be taken the wrong way. However I would like to know what became of him just to file in the museum. Regards Pete
