Looking for the birth of Ena Fincken around 1898 - 1901. In know she married Richard Wadrop somewhere around 1930-1940 (2nd Marriage which does not appear on Hartlepool indexes). I also know she was lving in Hartlepool during the 30's and 40's. Can anyone help.

Hi Paul
I have just checked on 1837 online for a birth for ENA FINCKEN from July 1897 up to June 1902 and there is no birth for an Ena Fincken.
There are several for FINCKEN in Hartlepool, but no ENA. Could Ena have been a pet name or middle name, do you think?
I have made a note of all the Hartlepool births so if you'd like them please let me know.
I also checked the 1901 census for her and there are no young Fincken females in the area.

Its me again. I just had a brainstorm (very unusual!)
Could Ena have been a shortened version of her name?
Its just a thought, but there is an entry for a ROSINA FINCKEN in the September Quarter of 1901 in Hartlepool, maybe they just used the latter part of her name (I know it happens cos my grandaughter is REBEKAH, but we always only manage the BEKAH part.)
Just in case the reference for the birth is:
FINCKEN Rosina Hartlepool 10a 197

This looks good as I have certainly seen a rosina on the Hartlepool indexes. What I now need to confirm or find is her marriage. Possibly married between 1920-1940 (though this is vague). I suppose what I am looking for is a Marriage to Richard Wadrop after 1919 (his second marriage) to a Ena or Rosina as the case maybe. Hartlepool indexes show nothing, though I know for certain they married and had no children.
