Ancestry's 1911 census transcriber at work

Hi
This is a photo of my hubbys grandma (paternal) and granddad (maternal) at his mum and dad's wedding in 1950, as you can see it's in a very sad state, if anyone can do anything with it that would be wonderful.

Hi Dave, Kali, DD and Irene
Many thanks to all of you for your hard work there, I didn't think anyone could have done anything at all with this photo, I went to visit Pete's aunt's yesterday and got too see the famous handbag that belonged to his Gran, crammed with old photos, hence the condition, I scanned them as well as poss and some have come out well, but there's another one from this set of his Mum and Dad at their wedding looks like my dogs have chewed it (and you thought this one was in bad condition ), so at least I can share these photos with the family at last, a few more years and there wouldn't have been anything left to scan. I'll send a copy of these restorations to his sisters and brothers it will make their day, as they only had one photo from their mum and dad's wedding, many thanks again everyone it's much appreciated.

Hi Paula
Many many thanks for your restoration, how you managed to pick out the attention to detail in the background is beyond me, Pete was very impressed. I'll send a copy on to his brothers and sisters, there's only one colour photo of Alfred as far as I know, so now there's two!
Thanks once again, you're a star.

paula, im sure the efforts by restoreres are apprecieated wether good or bad, its the trying that counts, and usualy there is some improvement and often a great improvement, if we can feel we have made somebdy happy it makes you feel good i think this is what its all about, kali. ps. the slidy things are good if you know what them slidy things are for.
