cant find marriage

I can not find a marriage for johnathan puttnam and a mary ann tulett/toolit would of been roughly @1874 it would of been in london maybe middlesex or buckinghamshire.

can you please help i am going crazy , also as i am still learning the ropes of this family tree addiction can you answer this  question please are all marriages births and deaths on sites like ancestry or are some not on there yet for various reasons...

hum... did think about the not getting married ..but where else can i look and also is all birth marriage death etc available on ancestry etc or is it not complete

mary would of been @ 21yrs
using that marriage year  loosely because first daughter was born 1874

Mary A was down on the 1881 as age 28 ie being born in 1853.

have used info  for mothers name from son johns birth cert born 1892
also grandmother hannah tulett with them on 1891 census..
there were more children born, 6 in total they had..
1891 census under puttman

i will order birth cert for willie...
it has just clicked in my brain doh!!
on 1881census older siblings not on there maybe mistake on census but are  on 1891 ?
i will order the oldest daughter julies cert to see the parents if that is so then wedding could of been @1878

In 1891 they are at RG12/279; Folio 39; Page 50
15 Brady Street Whitechapel.

However mum is down as Marie H and born in Bethnal Green and dad just listed as John is now one year younger than he was in 1881 aged 41.

Are you certain that this is the correct family?
