thanks for birth info have just tried to order birth cert but because i dont have exact birth date it wont let me, have tried 00/00/1874

Then it will let you order without an exact date.

just to let you know I FOUND THE MARRIAGE !!!
oldest daughters birth cert came today, mother mary ann REECE father under PUTTMAN
married 1870..

for some reason she uses 2 surnames I WILL FIND OUT WHY

she was born 1853
mariage and first child uses reece ...as mothers maiden name
youngest child 1892 uses toolit ...as mothers maiden name
when youngest gets married he says... mothers maiden name reece
