Sam Carter's marriage in Huddersfield

I am trying to find the marriage of Sam or Samuel Carter. The 1891 census states he is single and living at Springdale, Lockwood, Huddersfield. The 1901 census states he is married and living at 9 Thornton Road, Lockwood, Huddersfield. He was born in 1859 in Soyland, Halifax, and died 2 December 1908 in Huddersfield. His father was called William Carter,
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Is there a wife listed with him in 1901, and if so what is her christian name.?

There is no wife with him in 1901 and there are 2 marriages in Huddersfield on free BMD between 1891/1901

Sept Qtr 1892
Jun Qtr 1899

Do you have his death cert?
