Do you have any idea where they might have been living in 1900, 1910, 1920 & 1930?
Had a look but can't find the two of them together in 1920 or 1930. No sign of Earnest/Ernest living in New York, etc. Any ages, birthplaces, etc. would help.

The 1900 US Census is available for free here:  http://labs.familysearch.org/  If you have any information about their dates/places of birth, immigration dates, occupation, etc., then there should be someone here who can do a look-up on US records.

The only thing I know was that they were in the UK in 1910 when they had a child, born in London. I do not have any other info, other that some years later we were told that Claudia had RETURNED to America.
