Would anyone be able to look up baptism records for the Parish of Thenford please.
The family I am looking for are Middletons - which is a bit of a needle in the haystack in Northants but here goes. The baptisms are for 1) James Middleton born between 1812-1816 Thenford, he also I believe had a brother Edward born Thenford abt 1811. Plus their father Simon Middleton born abt 1780 Thenford.

Hi Vicky
Whilst in the Library yesterday I looked up the family for you and obtained
what I could from the Parish Records.
To add to Simon and Mary's marriage details at Thorpe Mandeville.
They were married by Banns.
These were read Feb 1st, 8th and 15th 1800.
Simon signed his name Mary signed with her mark.
Witnesses: John Middleton signed with his mark and Mary Middleton.

Baptisms at Thenford.
George the Son of Simon and Mary Middleton was Born the 28th Day of May
1801 and was Baptized 31st Day of the same month.
Phebe the Daughter of Simon and Mary Middleton was Born the 20th Day of May
1806 and was Baptized First Day of June following.
Joseph the Son of Simon and Mary Middleton was Born the 22nd Day of
September 1809 and was Baptized first Day of october following.
1811 Septr 1st James Son of Simon and Mary Middleton.

Thank you for all the above, I thought I had replied to you - but obviously not - so sorry and thank you. Hoping that the James you found bapt 1811 is my James. Its very possible, as the year given in the censu is abt 1814. I am going to try and track the other siblings down in the census and see what I can find.
