Hi All, Well, what a lot of interest Uncle Ken is causing!
First of all, thanks for the brilliant colour versions - they are all lovely. Which one is the most authentic I don't know.
He is English - RAF and was put forward for a commission in JAN 1945. He flew as a rear gunner on 35 operational missions between 17-08-43 and 06-06-44. Right, I'm now going to print them all off for him, then he can decide for himself which he likes!
Once again, thanks to you all for your work - I repeat myself regularly on this site, but I really do appreciate what you all do to preserve these old photos by making them of a better quality than the originals are in. Between you, you are helping to keep history alive.
Cheers, Pat.

Lorryload of smelling salts en route to Rabbit. Pat, what is the Eagle Squadron thing? I can't think how I know Ken was Bomber Command (Halifaxs), possibly a PM between us. Maybe an Eagle was part of the Squadron badge of the unit he served with? Cheers Dave
