Hi Tricia yes I did know of william & mary ann I pressed post before I had finished.sorry I'm just wondering if I am on the right Jacksons. My Great grandfather Frederick Greeenwell married Mary Ann Jackson in 1882. In the 1891census Mary is down as born Tow Law. On LDS I found a Mary Ann Jackson b1858 at Tow Law ,Thornley Father William Mother Mary. So when I found them on the 1861 census I thought I was on the right one, but I have just looked at their marriage cert and it says occupation of Mary Anns Father William as Joiner. So I think I must be on the wrong track as the william in1861 was a ag lab and he died before 1871. Thanks for your help. Cheers Aimme
