they had a daughter Janet Nimmo abt 29 March 1803 Edinburgh mid lothian scotland

Hi Tom,

Nearest I can get is Janet Nimmo to parents John* and Barbara* date is 17th April 1803 at Shotts, Lanarkshire. This is available on SP and will cost 6 credits. The 29 March 1803 maybe birthdate and 17th April is christening date.

Margaret Nimmo b 13 Nov 1792 Shotts c 16 Dec 1792 Cambusnethan
Mary (Marrion) Nimmo b 20 Oct 1794 Shotts c 26 Oct 1794 Cambusnethan
Isabel Nimmo christened 22 Jul 1798 Hamilton

These are all extracted records from the LDS. They are all in Lanarkshire maybe mining connections.

Hi Tom,

I have found a Barbarm Nimmo in Newarthill of the Bothwell/Holytown parish of Lanarksire, in the 1841 census. There is a 25 yo John Nimmo in same house, could be her son.

I found the following  in a public tree as being children of John and Barbara Nimmo. The tree is the
LOUTH Family Tree (Owner: onebad88). It only gives extra children, no further info.

Margaret NIMMO F 13 nov 1792 in Shotts   
Mary (marion) NIMMO F 20 oct 1794 in Shotts     
William NIMMO M 7 Oct 1796 in Shotts     
Isobel NIMMO F 22 July 1798 in Shotts     
Henry NIMMO M 17 SEPT 1800 in Bothwell   
Janet NIMMO F 17 Apr 1803 in Shotts
