What brilliant detective work !!
I knew that I was onto something with my Maria possibly being at the house of her sister Mary in 1871 but until I found out who the sister married I was in the dark.
Not have I now found ONE marriage, but TWO.
No wonder I was going around in circles.
Maria has an  illegitimate daughter, born on 10th February 1871 and named Elizabeth Mary Maria Rush Orsler who is in the REED household in 1871

REED/RUSH maybe a very 'bushy' story !!!!!
