Hi Everyone

Much appreciation to Steve for uploading this picture for me. I failed misserably.

Wow!!!

I must thank you all for the great work, it really brings the image to life. I got the picture from a distant cousin in Australia, I'm sure she will be delighted with what you have done so thanks from her too.

It is thought that the picture was taken in East Molesey, Surrey. It's a long shot but does anyone recognise any landmarks? The boy is believed to be a Hansler or Arnison. (surname)

Thanks for the church pic Jim. I think the tower is a different style. When I first got the photo, I looked on the net for East Molesey Churches but didn't find a possitive match. I suppose it could be any one of a hundred from the surrounding area or could even be from miles away.

There's always a chance that the church was bombed during the war and demolished or rebuilt slightly differently. Angry
