Owwww!  You beat me to "Nicholas Lechmere Baron", whilst I was just reading up on the school!!! Grin Grin  - apparently it was restored in 1733 so that must be correct.

Hi Gang,

I am just doing something for my technician, sorry about that Norton have been setting up my new security!  It has been slowing me down and now I am faster than ever and exhausted!  All that brainwork!

See you all later!  So sorry to do that but it is this site that it has been slowing down!

I see out title has been changed from the "Graveyardgang go back to school" to "Help deciphering this plaque please."

I take it we are persona non grata!  Pity we were not told.

Good idea, why do work that has been done already?  There is SO much out there to be done too.  Maybe I could go and snap some stones I have not yet transcribed and you could work on them and do a churchyard in a year? ;-))

Rabbit said Where has your spirit gone?  have you had a bad day too?

Nah Rabs it is all that dough that has got to him.  He'll be ok in the morning when the yeast has refreshed him again and he'll be as bright as a new spark then.

Hi Jim,

Nice to see you on our thread, welcome to the Graveyard Gang!

Poor MJB must be very tired he has worked so hard on this!  How about giving him a group hug! <hug>  cannot get the icon to post!  Paula Help!

I have a site that will translate every European language to English, I will go a way and google to see if there is one that does Latin!

Can't have our team leader getting despondent!  Let us make up a song!

We are the boys and girls well known as workers at the GGT, and every day all fresh we line up to see the pics we like and shout aloud with glee,
we like to laugh and have a sing song, just a happy crowd are wee-ee
we're so very happy we are the G of MJB

Apologies to the Minors of a well known film going community of the 40's!

If you were one of them you will know the tune

The first word looks 'Duc'

The third maybe 'Patria'  (patriotic)  ?

I can't make out the second word.
