Marriage look up in Parish records

Hello:

I hope I am in the right county.  If anyone is going to the record office or has parish records for Knareboro, could they do a look up for me please?

I am looking for the marriage of Robert Kilvington to Ann Weatherhill in Knaresbor. March quarter 1845.  I need to find out if this is a second marriage for Robert Kilvington.

Thank you very much for any help or ideas

Hi

Unless you know the name of the church where they were married it is not possible to obtain the details you want from parish records.    The only other alternative is to buy a copy of their marriage certificate 

However - the 1851 census for this couple shows Robert was only born in 1826 so was only 19 when he married Ann.  It seems unlikely he would have been married beforehand

There is a daughter Margaret aged 6 and freebmd shows her born in the September qtr 1845

1851 for Tockwith

Robert Kilvington 25 ag labourer b Tockwith
Ann 24 b Thorpe Green
Margaret 6 b Thorpe Green
William 4 b Tockwith
James 3 b Shadwell
Charles 1 b Tockwith

Thanks for the reply. I have been sorting out information sent to me by a new rellie and he had listed 4 marriages for Robert and now after looking at them I realize that Ann is the first wife not the second. He has it wrong.  Think I need to look at the parish records for Tockwith and area.

Thank you for the census information . This is a big help as well.
