Generous with their knowledge Generous with their time The help they give to those in need Is really quite sublime
From looking up a census To decyphering a script The friendly folk at Rootschat Won't let themselves be whipped
The font of all their wisdom Can be drunk from by those new To all aspects of genealogy Thanks to those diligent few
So 'hats off' to all Rootschatters For every helping hand You've prevented many a stumble In the past - that foreign land

Wow Paul love it. As one who spends a lot of time searching it's great to to know it appreciated, here is a little ditty in return.
Paul we thank you for giving your time to sing our praises in your rhyme I along with all the others who spend our time looking for mothers and sons and daughters of those long lost do so gladly sometimes at a cost the only payment we can ask is a little praise to ease the task I can tell you Paul and this is no bull consider your poem payment in full
regards

Thanks, Peter - but I'll clearly have to look to me laurels! Thanks everyone - but I honestly have never come across a place where people go so much out of their way to help people. Its really refreshing to find!
