hi i wonder if some one would lookup a isobel Alexandria Cummings,she came from  catrine and was born in 1925,i think her mother had the same name and would love to know who her father was,its my first time doing this and would love to find him.my grandmother past away 3 months ago so iam very emotional about this thanks in advance.

Hi

If she was only born in 1925 she will not appear on a census entry until 1931 and censuses are only released every 100 years. 

Have you checked for her birth on Scotlands People as a copy of her birth entry is your best way forward

Her birth was exactly when and where you thought it would be  Smiley Her birth entry is registered as ISABELLA Cummings, maybe Alexandria was added at her christening.

As Carol suggests, you can order her birth cert on line at Scotlands People (£10). Her birth cert. will include the full names of her parents including her mother's maiden name, father's occupation and when/where parents married. With details of her parents, you can then find their marriage and view this on line (cut off to view marriages on line is 1932/ births are 1907).
