Hi,
Henry Hunt born 1806 in Kingsclere Hants. Married 1845 in Kingsclere Hants (to Ellen Pendry). Had son Frederick Hunt 1846 in Woolhampton Berkshire.
The thing is that I have found nothing relating to Henry Hunt after 1846, and as his wife is listed as a Pendry in the 1851 census (living with her son and her father) I have long suspected that Henry may have been at very least in prison.
Is anyone able to help he find out if he was?
Thanks Andrew

Hi
I think he is on HO 107 1727 folio 164 page 47 as a lodger in Oxford.
Let me know if you can't access it and I'll post it here
Cheers Ian

Hi Ian Thanks for that. I have no idea how I missed that. Poor old fella, I've been thinking all sorts about him for years now.
Again, many thanks. Andrew

He appears to be shown as a widower on the original of the 1851, so may well have separated from his wife by that time. Ermy

You're quite right, Ermy, he is enumerated as a widower.
